When those with Autism and Aspergers have
freedom to believe.

We all have the desire to say....
“what if ?”
and every tomorrow has two handles.
We can take hold of it with the handle of fear
 or the handle of faith.

I came across the following clip today.
I was so hesitant to share this story.
But that would be holding onto a handle of fear.

So I say....
Watch the clip....
Follow your heart, your instincts and contemplate
without judgement....
What If?....

My adored friend and "lamp post" once said;
"I have just opened the door.... the choice is yours to walk through it!"
Everyone has the Freedom to Believe......

Wonderful video and what a marvellous young man. I'm not convinced that "One's Faith in God" can cure Aspergers, but I don't think that was the purpose of you sharing this video. I think that your point of view to take a chance and say, "What If" is valid. Especially when you are raising children with Aspergers. We have to take chances and we have to be positive so that each day brings our children chances in their lives.

I agree.... we all need Hope and we all need to trust in what we know. I take chances everyday; in what Therapy is important?, What foods to give my sons ?, What life lessons and Beliefs to teach them? Autism and Aspergers can be a confusing world to live in, so why not foster a..."What If?" approach. Do we really need to have the answers to every question? or the stance of proof?....isn't it enough to believe in the possibilities?

You are right. What a difficult thing it is for people on the spectrum to have faith and have a belief in religion/god and to believe that his faith has cured him is remarkable. I understand why you hesitated but you always present an open mind when addressing issues. That is why I enjoy reading your blog.
